Transport for London undertaking a comprehensive improvement programme across London’s transport network, including the modernisation of the Tube.
If you are planning to travel this weekend, 27 – 28 April, most of the network will be open with services running as normal but please check if any of the following works will affect you.

There are closures this weekend on the Circle, District and Hammersmith & City lines while we replace track in the High Street Kensington and Hammersmith areas and work at Edgware Road to prepare for new longer, air conditioned trains.
Bakerloo line
On Sunday, trains will not run between Queen’s Park and Harrow & Wealdstone due to Network Rail engineering work.
Circle line
There is no service between:
Baker Street and Hammersmith
Gloucester Road and Edgware Road via High Street Kensington
Aldgate and Tower Hill
This is for track improvement work and preparation for new trains.
District line
Trains will not run between Earl’s Court and Edgware Road/Kensington (Olympia) due to track improvement work and preparation for new trains.
Hammersmith & City line
There is no service between Baker Street and Hammersmith for track improvement work and preparation for new trains.
London Overground
On Sunday, the following services will be affected:
There are no westbound services at Caledonian Road & Barnsbury as the platform is closed to allow for bridge work at Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park.
There is no service between Highbury & Islington and Stratford to enable Network Rail to carry out bridge work at Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park and track maintenance work.
Trains will not run between Queen’s Park and Harrow & Wealdstone due to Network Rail engineering work.
There is no service between Sydenham and Crystal Palace while Network Rail carries out track maintenance at Crystal Palace.
