TfL are undertaking a comprehensive improvement programme across London’s transport network, including the modernisation of the Tube.
There is no Stansted Express service from Tottenham Hale this weekend due to Network Rail engineering works. If you are heading to Stansted Airport, please go to Liverpool Street station for a direct replacement bus service.
Events this weekend
On Saturday, the Lord Mayor’s Show will take place in the City and central London during the day. This will be followed by fireworks on the river between Blackfriars and Waterloo bridges early evening. Roads will remain closed throughout the day; many bus routes will be diverted and some Barclays Cycle Hire docking stations will be closed. For full details, please visit tfl.gov.uk/lordmayorshow
In addition, Regent Street will be closed early evening on Saturday for the Christmas lights switch‑on; buses will be on diversion.
Remembrance Sunday also takes place this weekend. Whitehall will be closed for traffic for most of the day and bus routes will be diverted.

If you are planning to travel this weekend 9/10 November, most of the network will be open with services running as normal but please check if any of the following works will affect you.

District line
There is no service between Turnham Green and Ealing Broadway while we replace track and points in the Acton Town area.
Northern line
Trains will not run between Kennington and Morden while we test new signalling.
Piccadilly line
There is no service between Hammersmith and Ealing Common/Osterley while we replace track and points in the Acton Town area.
Piccadilly line services will operate between Heathrow and Osterley. If you are travelling to Heathrow, please take the District line to Gunnersbury for an express bus service to and from the airport.
Docklands Light Railway
Trains will not run between Bow Church and Stratford on Sunday due to Crossrail work at Pudding Mill Lane station. For more information about Crossrail, pleaseclick here

London Overground
There is no service between New Cross Gate and Crystal Palace/West Croydon while Network Rail carry out track improvement work.
On Saturday trains will not run between Euston and Kilburn High Road from 19:15 due to network rail track improvement work.
On Sunday, there will be no service between the following stations due to Network Rail track work:
Wandsworth Road and Clapham Junction
South Tottenham and Barking until 12:00
Euston and Kilburn High Road until 12:15 and after 20:15
Gospel Oak and Stratford from 21:30
Trains will not run between the following stations on Sunday due to track improvement work:
Highbury & Islington and New Cross Gate until 08:15
Surrey Quays and Wandsworth Road until 08:15
