Transport for London are continuing their comprehensive improvement programme across London’s network for the modernisation of the Tube.
If you are planning to travel during the Easter weekend, Friday 29 March – Monday 1 April, most of the network will be open with services running as normal but please check if any of the following works will affect you.

Circle line
On Monday only, there is no service between Gloucester Road and Aldgate via Victoria as well as between Edgware Road and Hammersmith. This is while we test new trains and prepare for the installation of a new signalling system.Additionally, Farringdon station is closed from Friday – Monday for roof refurbishment work.
District line
On Monday only, there is no service between Earl’s Court and Aldgate East while we test new trains and prepare for the installation of a new signalling system.
Hammersmith & City line
Farringdon station is closed from Friday – Monday for roof refurbishment work.
Jubilee line
There is no service from Friday – Monday between West Hampstead and Stanmore. This will enable us to replace and improve substantial sections of track on the Jubilee line as well as on the adjacent Metropolitan line.
Metropolitan line
There is no service from Friday – Monday between Aldgate and Croxley/Rickmansworth/Uxbridge while we replace substantial sections of track and install new drainage at Neasden, Pinner and Northwood.Additionally, Farringdon station is closed from Friday – Monday for roof refurbishment work.
Northern line
There is no service from Friday – Monday between Kennington and Camden Town via Bank and also between Camden Town and Edgware. This will enable us to make further progress with installing a new signalling system – part of a comprehensive improvement of the line.The Waterloo & City line will run for longer on Friday, Saturday and Monday from 08:00 – 22:00 and on Sunday from 10:00 – 20:00 to provide an alternative route via the City.
Docklands Light Railway
There is no service from Friday – Monday between Canning Town and Beckton to enable track maintenance work at Canning Town and Crossrail work at Custom House. For more information about the new Crossrail Custom House station, please click here

On Sunday only, there is no service between Sandilands and New Addington while we replace rails and carry out other work to improve reliability.
