London Overground
Trains will not run between Surrey Quays and Clapham Junction to allow for Network Rail and Thameslink track improvement work. On Sunday, there is no service between Willesden Junction and Camden Road while we carry out platform extensions and also revise signalling, in preparation to accommodate five car trains. Hammersmith – From 22:30 on Friday until 05:00 on Monday, buses in the area may face some delays, while the Hammersmith flyover is closed eastbound to allow for resurfacing and waterproofing work. Bus routes 27, 267, 391 and H91 will run on special timetables. For more information on these weekend closures, please click here
Tooting – From 07:00 on Saturday, until 19:00 on Sunday, temporary traffic signals will be in place on Trinity Road at the Junction of Eatonville Road affecting bus routes 219 and 319. This is due to utility work in the area. South west – On Sunday, from 06:00 and for most of the day, a cycling event will run from Clapham Common to Brighton via Wandsworth, Merton, Mitcham, Sutton, Banstead and Reigate. Buses in these areas will be on diversion or stop short of their normal destination. Central London – On Sunday, from 11:15 until 15:00, a procession will take place between Hyde Park and Trafalgar Square. Buses will be on diversion or stop short of their normal destination in the Notting Hill Gate, Marble Arch, Oxford Circus, Green Park, Knightsbridge and Victoria areas. Westminster – On Saturday, from 08:30 until 14:30, Constitution Hill, The Mall, Horse Guards Road, Birdcage Walk and Whitehall are closed for a ceremonial event. Central London – On Saturday, from 12:45 until 14:00, there will be a procession from near Hyde Park to Trafalgar square via Piccadilly, Haymarket, Pall Mall East and Pall Mall. South west – On Sunday, from 06:00 and for most of the day, a cycling event will run from Clapham Common to Brighton via Wandsworth, Merton, Mitcham, Sutton, Banstead and Reigate. Roads in these areas are expected to be busier than usual. Central London – On Sunday, from 11:00 until 16:00, a procession will take place from Hyde Park to Trafalgar Square via Park Lane, Piccadilly, Haymarket and Pall Mall East. |
