Transport for London are undertaking a comprehensive improvement programme across London’s transport network, including the modernisation of the Tube.
If you are planning to travel this weekend 6/7 July, most of the network will be open with services running as normal but please check if any of the following works will affect you.

Mile End station is closed for track replacement work on the District and Hammersmith & City lines.
District line
Trains will not run between Whitechapel and West Ham while we replace track in the Mile End area. There is also no service between Dagenham East and Upminster while we improve drainage in the Hornchurch area.
The closure above restricts access to one of our train depots so with fewer trains in operation, there is no service between Earl’s Court and Kensington (Olympia).
Hammersmith & City line
Trains will not run between Moorgate and Barking while we replace track in the Mile End area.
Northern line
There is no service between Hampstead and Edgware while we test new signalling.
Docklands Light Railway
On Sunday, there will be no service between Stratford and Bow Church due to Crossrail work at Pudding Mill Lane.

London Overground
On Sunday, trains will not run between:
Surrey Quays and Clapham Junction due to Network Rail track renewal work
Gospel Oak and Barking due to Network Rail bridge work on Tottenham High Road

Advanced notice of impact to weekend travel:
On Sunday 4 August, 11 London bridges will be closed along with many roads in east, central and southwest London and Surrey. Many bus routes will be on diversion. This is as a result of the Prudential RideLondon cycling races, as part of a weekend of events.
